The principle of the Infinity Trail is simple, it’s a Backyard Ultra:
So, you set your own limits whether it’s the distance of a marathon, a 100km or even more than 300km!!!
The Backyard of Hossegor welcomes you in a sporty and magnificent setting between its lake and the sea. The course will make you go around the lake entirely on its edges by a wide and almost flat path.
The atmosphere promises to be lively around the lake where the spring weather, often mild and pleasant can make you spend an excellent time.
The lake of Hossegor is one of the jewels of the Silver Coast, in perpetual movement, it breathes at the rate of the Ocean and the seasons… and it shelters a whole life, generous and varied. A protected, simple and authentic space.
With the tides, the landscape will change permanently, from hour to hour despite the fact of making the same tour all the time. Something to change your mind.
By proposing this place, you can come with your companions so that they can enjoy the setting and help you to go further, to make one more loop. The departure, arrival and rest will be done in the beautiful and large room of Jaï Alaï.
What is sure, is that the place will not leave you insensitive. A backyard, in such a place will be perhaps easier… that it is for 5 turns or 50 turns!
You can read the rules here
The rest area we propose will be inside, in the mythical Jai-Alaï. Each participant will have a space in the stands with 2 or 3 chairs or down on the playing surface.
Solid food and hot drink every 3 hours, so every 3 laps with rice, pasta, fruits or others. At night, we will also offer broth, coffee or tea.
Sometimes we will offer fruits or cereal bars between the solid refreshments but not necessarily on every lap.
Note that some surprises will be offered from time to time, but we can’t tell you that… you’ll have to do the rounds to find out 😉
Please take into account that on our refreshment stands, you will not find any Coke, other soft drinks or sparkling water in bottles… for the simple and good reason that it creates a lot of waste, which we want to avoid. Water will be tap water
